A Look at Our Country …in Microcosm:

Bago pa man ipalabas yung panonoorin namin, nagbigay muna ng ilang reminders on observing proper conduct while inside the theater. Once the moviegoers have finally settled in their seats, sabay sabay namin itong pinanonood (complete with audio, text and visual aid):

1. Turn the phone off or put it on silent
2. Be mindful of the person sitting in front and not bump or kick the seat
3. Avoid using mobile devices while inside since light coming from these creates distraction
4. Do not talk loudly while the film screening is on-going
5. If a person is with a child and the child becomes unruly, bring the kid outside until the minor calms down
6. Practice CLAYGO (clean as you go)

And as one would’ve already pressumed, even when everyone in the theater was aware of the mall’s advisory, in the middle of watching the flick, you would already be observing some people around you completely disregarding these simple-to-follow instructions.

Yung kasamang anak nung isang nanonood, 2nd column, five rows up from where you are; hinayaan na lang na umiyak nang umiyak.

(I used to be guilty of this but not anymore)

The source of our own debacle lies in the feeling of self entitlement and ignorance.
