When we get to watch movies that tackle natural disasters and other crisis situations, we get to rant about certain characters on the film for doing reckless, deceitful actions that jeopardize the welfare and survival of their group. You can most probably recall the type. These characters receive the brunt of our critical blows because we believe that what they’re doing is against what is logically right and, ultimately, ends up dreadfully wrong. When life now imitates art, it will be to the best interest of everyone to assess if our individual actions will not be perceived as something that could endanger the lives that are close to us and to everyone. Let’s all be safe and, if possible, act as a strong, cohesive unit during these perilous and troubled times. Lest we forget, the fight is not amongst ourselves now. It is most certainly not against each other’s standpoint. Now is the moment when discipline, order, and cooperation from all of us is absolutely necessary to contain and defeat this common viral enemy.
